The famed Rajaji Tiger Reserve is both a national park and a tiger reserve. It is famous as an elephant habitat as there are around 600 elephants in Rajaji. The reserve also boasts 250 leopards and 16 tigers that will soon be outnumbered. Rajaji Tiger Reserve (earlier Rajaji National Park) is located in the Shivalik range of the Himalayas and is spread over 820 km. It covers a part of over three districts of Uttarakhand: Haridwar, Dehradun, and Pauri Garhwal. It has now become the second Tiger. All visitors to Rajaji National Park need entry permits in order to be allowed into the park. Permits are available at each of the gates to the park.

Indians: INR 150/person/visit of about 3 hours

Foreigners: INR 600/person/visit for foreigners in Chila Range, which is the showcase of Rajaji National Park.

The entry timings are between sunrise to sunset two times a day.
